If you qualify, Uplift Seat Assist may be covered under US Medicare Code E0629.

To qualify, you must have Medicare Part B coverage, and meet certain medical coverage criteria. Medicare will reimburse 80% of about $330 for Uplift Seat Assist or Power Seat. (Amounts vary by state).

Ask your Home Medical Equipment Supplier for for help with Medicare procedures.

Note: You will receive approximately the same Medicare reimbursement in purchasing a lift chair as you would in purchasing a Seat Assist (as only the 'seat lift mechanism' part of a lift chair is eligible for coverage).
