US Medicare Coverage
Uplift Power Seat is reimbursable under US Medicare Code E0628.

To qualify, you must have Medicare Part B coverage, and meet certain medical coverage criteria. Medicare will reimburse 80% of about $330 for Uplift Seat Assist or Uplift Power Seat. (Amounts vary slightly by state).

Ask your Home Medical Equipment Supplier for help with Medicare procedures.

Note: You will receive approximately the same Medicare reimbursement in purchasing a lift chair as you would in purchasing a Seat Assist (as only the “seat lift mechanism” part of a lift chair is eligible for coverage).
