Inside Sales - Business Development Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Specialist.  The ideal candidate is someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone to prospect for new business, adept at building strong business relationships and poses excellent organization and time management skills. This sales position will report directly to the Sales Manager and will be responsible for growing business with an established customer base and attaining new business with Home Medical Equipment companies located in Canada and the US.

Qualifications:
•    Effective at growing and developing business with new and  existing accounts
•    Proven record of success in growing and maintaining new business
•    Experience calling on and building relationships with decision makers & influencers
•    Strong customer service and customer follow up skills
•    Strong business acumen and problem solving skills
•    1-5  years sales and business development or related experience
•    Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
•    Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point)

Duties Include:
•    Achieving monthly / quarterly sales objectives
•    Prospecting, qualifying and closing new business opportunities
•    Developing trusted business relationships with customers
•    Identifying training, marketing and business development opportunities
•    Outbound calls to existing and new customers – 25 to 50 per day
•    Updating Customer Relationship Management tool with relevant customer information
•    Accurate order entry and maintenance

Remuneration:
