Uplift Technologies Inc. grew from a great idea, determination and successful products beginning in 1993 when owner, Michael Speraw, incorporated DayLight Technologies. The company manufactured Day-Light bright light therapy systems used to alleviate the symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or the 'Winter Blues.'

In 1995, the company introduced the innovative Uplift Seat Assist and this addition to our Home Medical Equipment (HME) line was the hit that inspired the company's name change to Uplift Technologies Inc. in 1999.

New products have marked the history of Uplift, leading to creation of a dealer network that is now exceeds 1,300 members.  We continually foster these relationships by providing our customers with the best possible products.

We manufacture two distinctive product lines under several brands.

• Specialty lifting seat products that enhance the quality of life for those
   who need some help due to a variety of health conditions

• Bright light therapy systems for those with seasonal light needs, those
   with circadian sleep disorders, frequent travelers or shift workers.

Our sit-to-stand products meet the needs of our dealers and consumers, while the popular Day-Light Bright Light Therapy systems adhere to the strict guidelines for effective treatment and are used by researchers around the world.
